The Bannerman Castle Trust and The Putnam Chorale Presents CRAIG SCHULMAN and THE PUTNAM CHORALE in
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
*Postponed until further notice. All current guests will be notified when the new date(s) are scheduled.*
Dear Hunchback of Notre Dame Patron,
Due to Covid 19, and the uncertainty as to when social distancing rules will be lifted, The Bannerman Castle Trust and the Putnam County Chorale regretfully are going to postpone our production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame until June 18, 19 and 20, 2021. It is heartbreaking that after two years of planning this production and assembling an outstanding team of actors and artistic personnel that we have had to make this difficult decision. We want to thank the artistic staff and our team of professional Equity and Hudson Valley Actors and choir performers for their hard work to present the show this season. However, for the public safety, we feel this is the best way to handle this extremely challenging situation.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame Concerts that were scheduled at The United Methodist Church in Brewster on April 26, 2020 and the concert at St Luke Episcopal Church in Beacon, have been canceled this year and will be rescheduled to similar dates in 2021. (Dates to be announced)
If you have purchased tickets to the Bannerman Island performance of Hunchback of Notre Dame, there are three options for your tickets:
- We can reschedule you for one of the 2021 dates.
- You can use your tickets for any upcoming Bannerman Tour or event.
- We can offer you a refund. You will need to contact us by phone at 845-203-1316
- You can donate your tickets to The Bannerman Castle Trust for the preservation of Bannerman Island.
As soon as the Covid 19 pandemic is under control and social distancing rules have been lifted, we plan to open for the 2020 season. We hope that you are all well and safe.
I can be reached at 845-831-6346.

The Bannerman Castle Trust, Inc. and The Putnam Chorale is proud to announce the staging of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME.
From the Oscar-winning composer team Alan Menken (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) & Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin) comes a lushly scored retelling of Victor Hugo’s (author of Les Miserables) epic story of love, acceptance, and what it means to be a hero.

The cast is led by Broadway veteran Craig Schulman (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, 1776), as the tortured Dom Claude Frollo. Jack Cappadona is the big-hearted bell ringer Quasimodo, Olivia Clavel-Davis portrays the ravishing and resilient Esmeralda, Leo Grinberg is the overconfident yet principled Captain Phoebus de Martin, and Graeme McEneany performs as Clopin Trouillefou, King of the Gypsies. Also cast as a congregation of tour-de-force storytellers that narrates THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME are Michael Bonanno (Lieutenant Frederic Charlus); Kelly Ellenwood; Juliana Giannasca; Goldee Greene; Brandon Mancuso (Jehan Frollo); Glen Macken (St. Aphrodisius); James Gerard Russo; and Andrea Marie Fennell (Florika).
