A Musical Salute to the Magic of Bannerman Castle
Please join us for the First Annual Music and Light Full Moon Celebration on Bannerman Island with the Daisy Jopling Band, featuring Michael Feigenbaum, Sal Lagonia and Local Youth. This is a fundraiser for the Bannerman Castle Trust and the Daisy Jopling Music Mentorship Foundation.

This is an exclusive, intimate and safe experience. Only 22 audience members are allowed per show and New York State health guidelines will be adhered to every step of the way.
We will be filming the event on Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1, so please only book tickets for this night if you are happy to be in the film.
Under a full harvest moon, enjoy an intimate performance by the Daisy Jopling Band, which will be opened by talented youth on different stages around the island with a backdrop of the majestic Bannerman Castle, illuminated by one of the world’s greatest lighting designers Deke Hazirjian.
Daisy Jopling is an internationally renowned classical/rock violinist and has performed in many of the major Festivals and concert halls throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center in New York, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Salzburger Festspiele, and at the Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland.
The Daisy Jopling Band concerts will consist of original violin arrangements of The Who, among other modern and accessible pieces, blending traditional orchestral music aesthetics with a wide array of contemporary musical styles.
You will be treated to a VIP Reception and a tour of the island including its beautiful gardens by a Bannerman Castle Trust historian, as well as a lighting show on the castle ruins at the end of the night.
Over 90 students will be mentored in the creation of this show, in areas of stage management, marketing, lighting design, sound engineering, moonlight photography, drawing, body percussion, dance choreography and musical performance.

The Daisy Jopling Music Mentorship Foundation (DJMMF) brings the power of world-class music making into community performances that transform people’s lives.
Founded in March 2011, the DJMMF has been producing extraordinary musical experiences for over 9 years. Over 1,020 children from all backgrounds aged 3 to 22 years old have had the transformational, empowering experience of its mentorship programs, and over 6,500 children have had the benefit of attending one of its performances for free.
The Foundation has produced 9 concerts at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, 2 concerts at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, and in 2017 an unforgettable performance at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.
The Daisy Jopling Foundation is a nonprofit under IRS regulation 501(3)(c). All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by the law.
Deke Hazirjian, Founder, President and Senior Lighting Designer of New York City Lites, has received several Emmy nominations, including his first Emmy win in 1997 for Best Lighting Direction in PBS’s Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego. Deke’s work can be seen daily on any channel. One or more of his shows air regularly on ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, HBO, and ESPN. His critically acclaimed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is currently in syndication. New York City Lites, now in its 37th year, is one of the oldest and most respected television lighting design firms in New York. Mr. Hazirjian has lived in Cornwall, New York for the last 35 years, and created the Bannerman’s Island Illumination in 1999 and 2007. https://newyorkcitylites.com

This is an exclusive, intimate experience. Only 22 audience members are

way. Visits to Bannerman Castle are a wondrous and rustic experience. Please wear
warm and comfortable clothing and shoes, as we will lead you on paths and up
steps around the island. It is not wheelchair accessible.
The boat will leave from Beacon Waterfront at 5:00 PM. After a beautiful cruise along the Hudson River, you will arrive on Bannerman Island around 5:20 PM and experience two performances by talented students on different stages around the island with stunning views, a pre-concert VIP reception and a tour from a Bannerman Castle Trust historian. After the Daisy Jopling Band performance you will experience a meet-and-greet with Daisy and a lighting show on the castle looking over the Hudson River. At around 9:00 PM your boat will cruise back to the Beacon Waterfront.
$250 per person
50% of your ticket price will be donated to the Bannerman Castle Trust, and 50% to the Daisy Jopling Music Mentorship Foundation.
