What to expect
There is a full service concession stand/gift shop that is fully stocked with snacks and sandwiches, as well as water, soft drinks and non alcoholic beers.
Rest Rooms: There are no restrooms at the Beacon dock or at the Beacon Metro North train station, but there are two Clivus Multrum composting toilets on the island. There are Porta-Potties in the adjoining Long Dock Park (Scenic Hudson) and the Pete and Toshi Seeger Riverside Park (City of Beacon), each about a 10 minute walk away. It is a 25-minute cruise to Bannerman Island, so please plan accordingly.
Itinerary
Please arrive a half hour early to board the RV Estuary Steward. Please note: the RV Estuary Steward cannot wait for latecomers and must depart on time. If you miss the boat, you will forfeit your ticket and will not be able to get a refund or a reschedule because The Bannerman Castle Trust has held your seats exclusively for you and therefore cannot resell your tickets. Please give yourselves plenty of time to get to the dock including giving yourselves time to get stuck in traffic.
