THE TRUST THANKS THE EASTER FOUNDATION FOR A GENEROUS GIFT

The Bannerman Castle Trust, Inc. is extremely grateful to The Easter Foundation and Fred and Anne Osborn.  The Easter Foundation and the Osborns provided a generous gift of $10,000 for the Bannerman Residence emergency stabilization project.  This gift, along with other donations and matching funds from a New York State Environmental Protection Fund challenge grant, will be used to reinstall a roof and interior floors in the former Bannerman Residence to stabilize the structure.  The former Bannerman Residence is the smaller of the two castle-like structures on the island and was used as a summer home by the Bannerman family during operation of their business on Pollepel Island.
